André Col
André Col, one of the most famous jewelers of the 1960s!
It was in 1936, avenue Victor Hugo in Paris that André Col (from a family of jewelers) founded his own House. He quickly imposed himself in this environment thanks to his originality, the quality of his work and his special orders, carried out by the best Parisian workshops also working for Place Vendôme.
It makes jewelry accessible and wearable every day, at a time when the great jewelers were not yet making boutique collections.
Creative and inspired, he often called on artists, such as the illustrator Toni J. Mella, or the photographer Jacques Aubin, to produce his advertisements and was the first to organize presentations on models during private parties.
