From 1975 to the present day: the ever independent “young girl” of Place Vendôme.

In 1975, the House of Poiray was born, drawing its inspiration from the emblematic luxury trend of the 20s and 30s: Art Deco. François Hérail and Michel Ermelin, the founders of the House, set themselves the challenge of creating a jewelry house where fine stones would be queens, and offering jewelry that would be easy to wear on all occasions.

Although the House of Poiray is famous for its ability to constantly renew itself through the constant proposal of customization (watches, rings, bracelets …), it is still a prestigious House associated with the Place Vendome by its location Rue de la Paix.

The first master stroke was the launch in the 1980s of the famous intertwined heart, created by the artistic director at the time, Nathalie Hocq. It is available in yellow, white or pink gold with or without diamonds.

It is its installation in 1988 that earned it its nickname of “the young girl of the Place Vendôme” because it is the latest to integrate the very closed circuit of the great names of the eponymous Place. This new location and the explosive success of the emblematic “Ma Première” watch launched the House to the forefront of the French luxury scene!

Its geometric dial and hour markings follow the brand’s line: Art Deco! Born in 1887, it is still the House’s timeless must-have, the second master stroke of the House of Poiray.

Originality is the order of the day, since you can personalize your watch with a dial in white gold, yellow gold, pink gold or steel. You can also add a diamond pavement on the dial or just for the marking of the hours. As for the bracelet, the “bracelet bar” offered by the boutiques, you can choose from more than 400 different bracelets in terms of color, pattern or material.

Since the phenomenal success of this watch, Poiray has extended the concept of personalization to all its creations.

The latest addition, the “My Preference” ring, offers you the possibility to fully customize your ring step by step: the band, the gem setting as well as the central gem that you can change every day according to your mood.
